GOOD TO KNOW
- The Flåm Railway is a park-and-ride — leave the van in Flåm and take the train up and back; book ahead in July and August.
- The Stegastein viewpoint sits on the Aurland Snow Road, a seasonal high road — the valley road is the year-round alternative.
- Bergen city parking is tight for a camper; base yourself at a campsite like Lone or Bratland just outside and take the bus in.
